Salomon ACS 20th Anniversary x Happy Life Wood


Movement and craftsmanship share the same rhythm.

Created to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Salomon ACS, the film explores the intersection of outdoor culture and craft through woodworker Steve Thomson  aka Happy Life Wood. His practice reflects the same precision, patience, and intention found in movement through nature.

I helped write the film, connecting Steve’s approach to craftsmanship with the design and spirit of the ACS. The idea was to celebrate the shoe by looking beyond the product and into the people, practices, and culture that give it meaning.
